Chiang Mai, Thailand
08:00 – 18:00
Private Experience
Your private guide and driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel in Chiang Mai before setting off towards Doi Inthanon National Park.
As you leave the city behind and climb into the mountains, the landscape gradually transforms. The warm lowlands give way to cooler air, dense forest and mist-covered peaks.
Rising to 2,565 metres above sea level, Doi Inthanon is Thailand’s highest mountain and one of the country’s most remarkable natural sanctuaries.
During the day, you will enjoy an accessible approximately 3-kilometre hike through lush mountain scenery. The trail offers beautiful viewpoints, rich tropical vegetation and, depending on the season, colourful butterflies and native birdlife.
You will also discover peaceful temples and sanctuaries nestled within the mountainous landscape, offering sweeping views across the surrounding valleys.
One of the highlights of the day is Wachirathan Waterfall, an impressive cascade surrounded by dense tropical greenery.
Your journey continues into the highlands, where you will encounter a Karen community living on the slopes of Doi Inthanon. This offers a respectful opportunity to discover more about their traditions, daily life and relationship with the surrounding landscape.
You will also have the opportunity to taste locally grown mountain coffee, a product closely connected to the agricultural heritage of the region.
Lunch is included during the experience.
In the late afternoon, you will return to Chiang Mai, where your private driver will take you back to your hotel.
