Phang Nga Bay: Limestone Cliffs, Kayaking & Life on the Water

Your English-speaking local guide and driver meet you in the lobby of your hotel in Phuket.
You then travel towards Phang Nga Bay, renowned for its extraordinary marine landscape of towering limestone karsts rising from clear emerald waters.

Board your private long-tail boat and begin exploring the islands, sheltered coves and distinctive rock formations scattered across the bay.

Some of the smaller islands contain caves and narrow passages that are particularly suited to exploration by kayak. An experienced guide accompanies you to ensure that you feel comfortable and safe during this part of the experience.
You then stop for a local lunch at Koh Panyee, a Muslim village built entirely on stilts above the water.
After lunch, continue exploring several of Phang Nga Bay’s most famous sites.

Among them is Koh Tapu, internationally known as James Bond Island, one of the bay’s most recognisable landmarks.
In the late afternoon, return to the mainland before your private transfer back to your hotel in Phuket.
Meal included: lunch at Koh Panyee

Our on-the-ground commitments

At Hilaire Expériences, we place particular care in the way each journey is conceived and delivered on the ground.

We favour local partners who share a more responsible approach to travel, with particular attention paid to preserving the environments we visit, respecting local communities and ensuring that tourism contributes positively to the destinations in which we operate.

A number of our experiences are operated by partners working in accordance with recognised standards such as Travelife and ChildSafe, with a continued focus on managing their environmental and social impact responsibly.

We are also progressively reducing the use of single-use plastics across selected programmes. Wherever possible, disposable bottles are being replaced by refillable solutions and drinking-water refill points available in hotels and aboard our vehicles.
